How to Add or Edit Listings

Editing Steps

1. Open data/listings.json.
2. Copy an existing listing block and paste it below the last listing.
3. Change the business details inside the quotes, including city and location.
4. Set "featured": true only for paid or highlighted listings.
5. Save the file and refresh the website.

Important Rules

• Keep every line in quotes exactly like the example.
• Put a comma after each listing except the last one.
• Use true or false for featured listings.
• Use "claim_status": "unclaimed" until a business owner claims the listing.
• Use one of the approved categories so filtering stays consistent.
• Keep listings focused on the directory coverage area.
• If a business has no email, use an empty value: "".
• If a business has no website, use an empty value: "".
• If the page stops loading, check for a missing comma or quote.
